DANA e.V celebrates their 30th anniversary
DANA e.V., Society for the Preservation of Tibetan Culture and Medicine, celebrated its 30th anniversary on April 27, 2014 in Munich. Guest of honor at the anniversary celebration was Jetsun Pema, the sister of the Dalai Lama.
His Holiness Dalai Lama sent a video greeting from Dharamsala to DANA for their 30th anniversary. He thanked the organization for their generous support through a variety of projects and acknowledged the long-standing friendship with Inka Jochum, the founder of DANA e.V. Also, Jetsun Pema, the youngest sister of the Dalai Lama, thanked Inka Jochum and the organization’s President Bruno Baumann on the 53rd year of the Tibetans in exile and for the mediation of sponsorships for the Tibetan Children's Village in Ladakh. "Inka, you should be proud. The Tibetan children have received a good education.” The money of the supporters has been put to great use and is bearing fruit today.
